1st July 2008: Sarchu
The next morning, the first thing I saw as I got out of the tent was the rich blue sky. We had decided to take it easy and stay back at Sarchu for a day to allow Pradeep and Sejal acclimatize to the high altitudes. I went around for a nice walk before breakfast.
Camp where we stayed..
Up next was to go to the medical camp for Pradeep & Sejal’s check up. The doctor said that things were fine and there was nothing to worry about. We spent some time with them chatting up after the check up and came back to the tents.

Soaking in sun after lunch at camp
After lunch we decided to head backwards towards Bharatpur for a small round - to cover and see the landscapes we had missed the day before while rushing to hospital.
it was lovely light...
This time around, it turned out to be a nice drive and by 7.30 we were back at the camp to spend the rest of the evening. It was a totally lazed out day after the hard-paced action the day earlier. I hardly clicked, but rather engrossed myself to absorb the surroundings.
